Meet the Board Members
We are an all volunteer organization dedicated to helping local businesses and our community. We welcome our newest board member, Tricia.
Maria Ellis – President
Maria Ellis is the owner of Espresso Break. This business opened in 1993 and was the first drive through espresso stand in Mountlake Terrace. She has been involved with the MLTBA for the past 4 years, and took on the role as president a year and a half ago. As president of the MLTBA, Maria is passionate about supporting local businesses and giving back to the community.
Jaime Stidham – Vice President
Jamie Stidham is the owner of Junkzilla. Her business is based in Mountlake Terrace but her company services outlying areas as well. Junkzilla is a full service hauling company that helps get rid of your unwanted items and helps you simplify your life. Jamie is new to the board in March of 2015. She joined the business association to be more involved and give back to the community. Jamie is excited to be on the board and loves seeing her community grow. She enjoys skiing and cooking.
Jeanette Davelaar – Treasurer
Jeanette Davelaar has been with Sound Community Bank for 14 years and in the banking industry for over 17 years. Sound Community Bank has been providing the Puget Sound area with the best personal and business financial accounts and services for over 60 years. It is a local bank based here in Mountlake Terrace, and works to improve our community and offer the best service possible. Sound Community Bank has been a member of the Mountlake Terrace Business Association since July 2014. That was the same time Jeanette joined the MLTBA board as the treasurer. Jeanette joined the MLTBA organization because it helps support the growth and vitality of businesses as well as participates and contributes to the community.
Nadya Assaf Rubinstein, ND – Secretary
Dr. Nadya Assaf Rubinstein is the co-owner of Natural Reflections Healthcare. Her clinic has been in Mountlake Terrace since 2010. She joined the MLTBA in 2013 as a member and recently joined the board as the secretary. Her goals are to help the MLTBA build it’s membership and get more involved in the community. She enjoys traveling and studying plants.
Leona Rehm has been a personal business coach for over 12 years. She has been part of the Mountlake Terrace community for 20 years. Married since 1973, she is a mother of three adult children, and a grandmother. She is all about turning hope and dreams into reality through her coaching. She joined the MLTBA this year as a board member. Her goal for the MLTBA is to help the association grow and help local business owner’s become successful.
